Wight Eagles FC was formed in the summer of 2020 during the coronavirus lockdown. Rising from the ashes of the now defunct East Cowes Vics Ladies team. Most of the current squad was made up from the previous club with a number of additions coming from other clubs on the island. Manager Steve Spriggs who had quit East Cowes before they folded, was asked to take up the managerial position and after a few weeks agreed to take control, along with a whole new coaching team. The team will be playing out of the Cowes Enterprise 3G for the upcoming season, before hopefully relocating to a permanent home for the 21/22 season. The club will compete in it’s first season in the Hampshire womens division 3.

After a very disrupted 20/21 season the club will start the 21/22 season still at the Cowes Enterprise 3g, but with a very new look team, club kits and under a complete new ownership. The club will compete in the Hampshire Womens Division 4.
